Quincy Police department received an unexpected call last weekend when a 6 year old Massachusetts boy called 911 to report that his father has just run a red light on the way to the car wash. The boy later told The Globe that he wants to go into police work when he grows up.

Barnstable Police in cooperation with several other local organizations have once again performed a clean sweep of numerous homeless camps located in the harbor and downtown areas. The four men living in the camps were all given advance notice, and were offered services for relocation and other assistance.
